William 'Willie' David Adams

Mr. William ‘Willie’ Adams, age 66, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Pentecostals of Columbia with Pastor Seniour and Jerry Richardson officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 4:00-7:00PM at Heritage Funeral Home. An additional visitation will also be held at the church on Friday from 11:00AM -12:00PM. Burial will follow in Morton Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born May 9, 1959, in Pontiac, Michigan; Willie was the son of the late Charles Jackson Adams and the late Naomi Ruth Chapman Adams. Willie enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and car shows. He was passionate about history and had a special fascination with the Civil War. He faithfully served as a board member of Pentecostals of Columbia for 10 years and was over maintenance. Willie worked at Marriot Residence Inn for many years where he later retired. He will be missed tremendously by all that knew and loved him.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 40 years, Lori Adams, son, Nathaniel (Linda) Adams, daughter, Elizabeth Adams, brother, Charles (Mary) Dudley Adams, sister, Edith Jean Crum, grandchildren, Austin Wayne Mote, Aubree Mote, Everlee Adams, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Anita Adams.

Pallbearers will be Charles Adams, Christopher Adams, Nathaniel Adams, Ricky Conner, Barry Conner, Tim Moore, Jeremy Oden, and Todd Holt.

Honorary pallbearers will be The men of Pentecostals of Columbia, Tim Bishop, Roy Criss, John Keys, Jason Keyser, Ray Overstreet, and Nathan Stone.
