After the military, he bought and drove a semi until he was fifty-two, a career he truly enjoyed. He found joy in country music and could often be found working on cars. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

Brown, Jeannie (Mark) Caldwell, Angelina (Brett) Gleason, grandchildren, Caitlin Caldwell, Caleb Caldwell, Cassie Caldwell, Savannah Brown, Arthur Gleason, Richie Gleason, great granddaughter, Millie Henderson, and brothers, David Brown, Timothy Brown, and Kenneth Brown.
