William "Bill" Hood

Mr. William Sherman Hood, age 77, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at his residence.

Bill was born on February 10, 1944, in Oceanside, California and was the son of the late Jack Hood and the late Eva Ann Cole Hood.  He served ten years in the United States Coast Guard and was of the Church of Christ faith.

He is survived by his sons, Charles “Ryan” (Amy) Hood of Parrish, FL and Paul Andrew (Chasity) Hood of Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Caroline Hood (Ross) Parimore, Abby Hood, and Natalie Hood.

Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Lynn Hendricks Hood.
