Wesley Paul Hay

Wesley Paul Hay, age 88, a resident of Hermitage, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Donnie Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Santa Fe Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on November 19, 1937, in Hilltown, Tennessee, Paul was the son of the late Collie Paul Hay and the late Eunice Grace Hill Hay. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and the Tennessee National Guard. On August 13, 1957, he married the love of his life, Delilah Ann Kyle, who preceded him in death on May 14, 2014.

Paul dedicated forty-one years of service to Nashville Electric Service before retiring in 1993. He often enjoyed woodworking, spending time tinkering in his shop, and watching old westerns. Paul was of Christian faith.

He is survived by his children, Michael Paul Hay, Jeffrey Allen (Stacy) Hay, Gregory John (Marcia) Hay, sister in law, Carolyn Hay, grandchildren, Desiree “Nikki” (Mersud) Sali, Kimberly Hay, Alexus Baker, Austin Baker, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberley Dee Hay, and siblings, Hazel Collier, Allen Clyde Hay, and Harold Sherman Hay.
