Virgina Mae Logue Reese

Mrs. Virginia Mae Logue Reese, age 87, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, at NHC Columbia. She was born on February 5, 1938 to the late Clifton Allen Logue and Lizzie Bell Johnson Logue. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wayne Reese Sr., siblings, Sonny Logue, Larry Logue, Martha Logue Vick, and Betty Logue Southern.

A visitation period with the Reese family will be on Tuesday, July 15,2025 at Heritage Funeral Home from 11AM until 1PM. A funeral service will follow at 1PM from the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery in Columbia, TN. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She was a loving wife, mother, and sister who loved spending time with her family. Virginia enjoyed being a homemaker and working in the restaurant business. She loved baking and cooking for her family. Virginia could be seen working outdoors in the garden with her flowers, roses, and fishing. She was fond of watching westerns and home decorating. She had a true servant’s heart and would help anyone in need.

She is survived by her son, Mike (Marsha) Brown of Columbia, TN; daughter, Teresa (Rickey) Bradley of Pulaski, TN; 3 granddaughters, Terra (Beau) Burm, Lindy (Chris) McCormack, and Chelsea Brown; 4 great grandchildren, Mason Burm, Bryson Burm, Ty McCormack, and Kade McCormack.

Pallbearers will be Bryson Burm, Beau Burm, Kade McCormack, Ty McCormack, Chris McCormack, and Kevin Hood. Honorary Pallbearers will be staff of NHC Columbia, Caris Palliative Care, Amedysis Home Health, and Brenda Thomason, caregiver.
