Terry Scott Wilson

Mr. Terry Scott Wilson, age 73, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Tennessee State Veterans Home, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 2:30 – 4:30 PM, at The Outreach Center (next to W. 7th Street Church of Christ in Columbia, Tennessee).

Born on July 9, 1952 in Terrell, Texas, Terry was the son of the late A.L. Wilson and the late Maydene Vann Wilson. In 1970, he graduated from Central High School in San Angelo, Texas. Terry married his best friend and love of his life, Linda Kochmann Wilson and together they celebrated fifty years of marriage. He enjoyed fishing, geography, gardening, boats, woodworking, vehicle restoration, listening to music, traveling, and his cat, Caspian. He also found joy in working with computers and researching genealogy. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and United States Coast Guard for thirteen years. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Jeanette Wilson, sons, Anthony Wilson, Benjamin (Nichole) Wilson, his brother, Alan (Becky) Wilson, stepmother, Volita Wilson, and grandchildren, Ariel Wilson, Preston Wilson, and Xander Wilson.
