Taylor Robert Ryan DeRidder, age 32, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at a later date at Maury Memorial Gardens.

Affectionately known as "Bubba Taylor" by his nieces and nephews, Taylor was born on July 30, 1993, in Columbia, Tennessee, to Robert "Bob" Kevin DeRidder and Wendy Shevonne Roland. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 2011 and was recently employed as a road technician with the Maury County Highway Department. Known for his strong work ethic, Taylor took great pride in his work and had previously spent several years building homes alongside his father.

Taylor enjoyed fishing and had a special love for animals. He loved children, and children were especially drawn to him. He had a natural gift for connecting with others and never met a stranger. Kindhearted, genuine, and always willing to lend a helping hand, Taylor had a heart of gold and brought joy to those around him. Above all else, his greatest love was his daughter, Willow, and the time they spent together was the most treasured part of his life.

In addition to his parents and daughter, he is survived by his brother, Josh (Kayla) Roland, sister, McKayla (Justice) Conner, grandparents, William DeRidder, Brenda Foster, nieces and nephews, Ryan Conner, Dean Conner, Bricen Roland, aunts and uncles, Diana (Tim) Hoppe, William (Chris) DeRidder, Thomas (Sue) DeRidder, Connie Roland, Tracey Johnson, and multiple cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Anne DeRidder, and uncles, David Wayne DeRidder, Christopher Michael Roland, and Jimmy Dale Staggs.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Roland, Robert DeRidder, Justice Conner, Edward Hargrove, Randy Higgs and Nicholas Bradford. Honorary pallbearers will include Bricen Roland, Tanner Katzenberger, Landyn Zimmerman, and Robert Davis, Jr.
