Stevie Lamar Cooper, age 61, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and again on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
A native of Columbia, Stevie was born on January 3, 1965, and was the son of the late George Lee Cooper and the late Evelyn Williams Cooper. He was educated in the Maury County Public School System and was a graduate of Columbia Central High School. He dedicated over twenty years of his career at Taco Bell, most recently as the Area Coach. Stevie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as the minister of music.
He is survived by his children, Blake Lamar Cooper of Jacksonville, FL, Brandie Elisa (Mark Jones) Cooper of Louisville, KY, Devario Cooper of Columbia, TN, Micah Lance Cooper of Columbia, TN, Christian McKalub Cooper of Columbia, TN, Janiya Lynette Cooper of Columbia, TN, Gabriella Cooper of Columbia, TN, siblings, Vickie Cooper of Columbia, TN, Valerie Frye of Columbia, TN, Angela (Ashley) Goff of Columbia, TN, Stephanie (Ernest) Baugh of La Vergne, TN, grandchildren, Layla Cooper, Amyah Cooper, Ivory Jones, Markese Jones, special friend of the family, Keybra Martin, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Travis Cooper and Keith Cooper.
