Mrs. Shirley Ann Jennings, age 69, a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026 at her residence.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Saturday June 27, 2026 from 3:00-5:00 PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on December 17, 1956 in Columbia, Tennessee, Shirley was the daughter of the late Sam Bell and the late Birdie Duke Bell. She spent the past fifty years with the love of her life, her husband, Billy Jennings. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading, crocheting, playing the slots, watching Titans football games, and loved to talk. Spending time with her grandchildren brought her a great deal of joy. A loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband, she leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Vincent (Christal) Shubbie, daughters, Candria (Rico) Webb, Shanita (Tracy) Grimes, brother, Charles Bell, sisters, Angelene (Milton) Dungy, Pinkie (Bernard) Childress, grandchildren, Kdrion Jennings, Avery Shubbie, and Sydney Shubbie, long time devoted friend Chris Duke and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Sam Bell, Bobby Joe Bell, and her sisters, Mary Richardson and Mamie Bell.

Pallbearers will be: Adrian Bell, Miles Bell, Mylan Bell, Scott Richardson, Chris Angus, and Jermaine Davis.
