Sandra Sue Gendreau, age 78, a resident of Sunnyside Lane in Columbia, passed away Thursday morning, April 4, 2019 at her residence.
The family will celebrate her life with private services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on February 18, 1941 in Wichita, Kansas, Sandra was the daughter of the late Glen Lake Dye and the late Elra Blevins Dye Small. She was a graduate of Wichita High School Southeast. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness and a retired minister. Sandra was proud of her missionary service in Panama South America from 2014-2016.
She is survived by her children: Richard T. (Betty) Gendreau of Wartburg, TN, James J. (Sheryl) Gendreau of Columbia, Robin T. (Shari) Gendreau of Buchanan, VA, Patrick A (Lissette) Gendreau of Sarasota, FL, Christopher M. Gendreau of Florida, Cory E. (Anna) Gendreau of Palmetto, FL, Christopher J. Gendreau of Columbia, TN, Laurie L. (Daryl) Gendreau of Lewisburg, TN, Carrie M. (Antione) Richardson of Columbia, TN, Casey A. (Aaron) Bryan of Columbia, Kelli R. (Scott) Baublitz of Columbia, TN; brother: Jerry Bailey of Bella Vista, AR; thirty-six grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
Along with her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her step father, Thomas Small.
