Rosita Dolores Rogers, age 67, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th at 10:00 AM at Maury Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Mark Rogers. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on August 18, 1957, in Los Angeles, California, Rosita was the daughter of the late Celso Antonio Chetrancola and the late Esther Sanchez Lowe. A truly selfless woman, Rosita was known for her kind spirit and the lasting friendships she built throughout her life. She worked for nearly 20 years at Wal-Mart in Cool Springs, where she became a familiar and friendly face to many.
Affectionately known as the “cat lady,” Rosita had a deep love for animals, especially her many cats. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother whose warmth and love will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Rogers, son, Jeremy Rogers; brother, Daryl (Tina) Lowe; sisters, Margaret Trinidad and Monica (David) Rube; and her cherished grandchildren, Thorn Rogers and Aiden Jacobs.
