Rosemary Woods

January 21, 1945 - September 11, 2019

Rosemary Moon Woods, age 74, a resident of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Born on January 21, 1945 in Buffalo, New York, Rosemary was the daughter of the late Michael Wornick and the late Margaret Mott Wornick. She worked many years for Union Carbide before retiring in 2002. Rosemary enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and hunting. In her younger years, she was an excellent pool player.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Woods (Thomas Meyer) of Columbia; son, James Moon of Dickson; brothers: Robert Wornick, Jeffrey Wornick, Michael Wornick; sisters: Margie Wornick, Barbara Wornick, Shirley Wornick; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Farris Woods; and daughter, Mary K Moon.
