Ronald Louis Richardson

Ronald Louis Richardson, age 76, husband of Paula Richardson, and a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Centennial Medical Center.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 7:00PM at The Pentecostals of Columbia with Pastor Scott Seniour officiating. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:00PM at the church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 9, 1950, in Houston, Texas, Ronnie was the son of the late Clemis Theldon Richardson and the late Thelma Marie Matthews Richardson. On March 11, 1988, he married Paula, with whom he shared more than thirty-eight years of marriage. Ronnie was the proud owner and operator of Ron’s Lube Express in Columbia for seventeen years. He was also a member of The Pentecostals of Columbia.

Ronnie had a passion for restoring old cars and trucks, taking great enjoyment in bringing them back to life. Known for his wonderful sense of humor and playful personality, he was always cutting up, teasing those around him, and finding ways to make others laugh. He had a special place in his heart for his beloved Boxer dogs, who brought him much companionship and joy throughout the years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Dwayne (Jaime) Richardson, Kelly (Shannon) Bratton, Travis (Mai) Handlin, Krystal Handlin, brothers, Billy (Connie) Richardson, Ben (Janie) Richardson, sister-in-law, Terri Harmon, grandchildren, Sheyanne (Charlie) Smoker, Kevin Nguyen, Seth Kennedy, Cole Kennedy, Caleb Richardson, Brooks Bratton, Halle Grace Bratton, three great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and Ashley Hill, a very special friend.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, CT Richardson, Ray Richardson, Rocky Richardson, and sister, Twila Richardson.
