Mr. Ronald Wayne Kuhn, age 82, husband of Ruth Kuhn, and a resident of Santa Fe, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in the Garden of Freedom in Maury Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Marine Corps. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Born on June 18, 1943, in Grove City, Pennsylvania, Ronald was the son of the late Arthur Wayne Kuhn and the late Mildred First Kuhn. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps for twenty years, completing three tours in Vietnam before retiring. While serving in the military, he met the love of his life, Ruth, and the two were married on March 18, 1972.
Ronald enjoyed the simple pleasures of life— reading, watching westerns, and going out to eat. He was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kimberly Kuhn Barela, Ronald E. (Judith) Kuhn, Sean (Nellie) Kuhn, Nicholas (Gretchen) Kuhn, brother, Randy (Sylvia) Kuhn, sisters, Nancy (Allen) Carr, Karen (James) Ondo, Terri (Frank) Marotta, Kim (Dale) Hills, grandchildren, Stephanie James, Elizabeth Arauz, Rachel Wykoski, Bobby Barela, Danny Barela, Ryan Barela, Tyler Kuhn, great grandchildren, Kyra James, Truman James, Merril Arauz, Ava Arauz, Bobby, Haley, Autumn, Simona, Miahna, Rocco, Charlee, Ellee, Daisey, and Lu Barela, and four great great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, William, and Larry Kuhn.
