Richard "Ricky" Dean Shepherd of Columbia, Tennessee

Mr. Richard Dean Shepherd, age 59, of Columbia, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 in Arizona.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Adkison Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 22, 1960 in Franklin, Tennessee and was the son of the late Ernest & Gladys Shepherd. He was a retired transportation driver who loved fast cars and motorcycles.

He is survived by his longtime life partner, Kathy Gorr; sisters: Sarah Bennett of Fairview, Linda Malone of Franklin, Ann Brymer of Centerville, Debbie Shepherd of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rachael Fitzgerald; and brothers: Cecil Shepherd and Larry Shepherd.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
