Rhonda Woods

Rhonda Woods, age 52, resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, August the 21 ^st , 2020 at Heritage Funeral Home with Cecil Scott and Rick Points officiating. A Visitation will also be held from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Friday, August the 21 ^st at the funeral home. Following the service, Rhonda will be taken in the Tombstone Hearse to Arlington Cemetery.

Born November 13, 1967 in Maury County, Tennessee; Rhonda was the daughter of Lillian Faye Norman Woods, and the late Randolph Y. Woods. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, and worked as a CNA at Signature Healthcare. Rhonda enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, and loved going to the river and beach. She never met a stranger.

In addition to her mother, Rhonda is survived by her Sister: Wendy (Roger) Gilliam of Mt. Pleasant; and The loves of her life: her Great Nieces and Nephews: Korileigh Thomason, Gannon “Bubba” and Haddison Vandygriff; Niece: Shelby (Nick) Vandygriff of Mt. Pleasant; and Nephew: Sydney Thomason.

In addition to her Father, Rhonda is preceded in death by her paternal Grandparents: Cy and Dorothy Woods; and her maternal Grandparents: Sidney “Tom” and Eunice Norman.

Pallbearers will be: Warn Lee Burks “Copperhead”, Roy Wayne Henson “Killer”, Stef Barnes “Stef”, Josh Vaughn, and Ray Cothran. Acting as Honorary Pallbearers: Rick Clawson “Catfish”, Jerry Morris, Bryan Grooms, Jerry Wayne Burks “Cheesy” and Paul Potts.
