Rachel Gulley

November 23, 1940 - June 28, 2019

Mrs. Rachel Gulley, age 78, wife of Jerry Gulley and a resident of Athens, AL passed away Friday, June 28, 2019 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday, July 3 in the Hunter Room at Heritage Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends from 4:00 PM to service time at Heritage Funeral Home.

Born November 23, 1940 in Centerville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Ruby and Willie Mae Darnell Boyd. She worked as a nursing assistant and was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Bobby (Shelia) Pylant, Rocky (Chrissy) Pylant, Danny Pylant, Jerry Neal Gulley and Shawn (Starla) Gulley; a brother and 3 sisters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Rhonda Ridinger.
