Patricia Kay Hood

Kay Hood, age 56, a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Magnolia Healthcare.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 21 ^st at 12pm, officiated by Brother Randy Kersey at Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 11am – 12pm. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

A native of Columbia she was born on September 16, 1962. Kay was a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years, most recently employed with Claiborne & Hughes in Franklin, TN. She enjoyed fishing and most importantly loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She leaves behind to treasure her memory; her daughters: Cassandra (Vinson) Floyd of Columbia, TN, Amanda (Harold) Moss of Columbia, TN, and Jessica (Brian) Hicks of Cheyenne, WY, brothers: Johnny Spencer of Columbia, TN and Charles Spencer of Lawrenceburg, TN and sister: Melissa Roberts of Knoxville, TN, grandchildren: Xavier Hood, Carianna Smith, Amandrionna Hood, Lexy Litwiller, Treyston Hood, Elijah Moss, Annabelle Hicks, Abrahm Hicks, nephews: Garrett Brown, Remington Spencer, Ryder Spencer, niece: Bella Spencer and Special friend: Kacy Walker of Columbia, TN.

Kay was preceded in death by; her parents: Shirley and Johnny Spencer and grandparents: Bessie and Edward Hood.

Honorary pallbearers will be Treyston Hood, Xavier Hood, Elijah Moss, Courtney Seay, Abrahm Hicks, Harold Moss and Vinson Floyd.
