Paresh “Prince” Patel, age 34, a resident of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away tragically on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

A funeral ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee.

Our hearts are shattered by the tragic and senseless loss of Prince, a cherished soul whose warmth lit up Lewisburg every single day. More than just the friendly face behind the counter, Prince was family to so many of us. He had a gift — the kind of magic that made you feel seen, welcomed, and lighter just from a simple interaction.

He’d tease you with a grin, call you out with a joke, and then send you off with a blessing and a smile. It became part of our routine — stopping by just to see him. He wasn’t just a store owner. He was a friend, a brother, a son of this town. The laughter he brought, the stories he shared, and the comfort he unknowingly offered became a quiet cornerstone in our daily lives.

But for those blessed enough to truly call him family — his wife Kinjal, his precious daughter Jiya, his parents and loved ones back home in India, and many more within the Indian community — the loss is even more profound. Prince brought warmth, joy, and strength into every room he entered. He worked hard, loved deeply, and gave selflessly. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, a loyal son, a giving brother, and a shining example of what it means to live with heart.

Prince’s absence leaves a silence that’s hard to describe. He leaves behind his loving wife, Kinjal, and their sweet five-year-old daughter, Jiya — a little girl who adored her father, whose world will never be the same. Prince also leaves behind his parents, Sumanbhai and Kailashben Patel, brother, Niteshkumar Sumanbhai Patel and his wife Zeel, and niece, Jensi Patel. Our hearts ache for them and for his loved ones in India now navigating unthinkable grief and uncertainty.

We can’t undo this tragedy, but we can come together in the same spirit Prince gave to us — with love, kindness, and generosity. Please consider helping support Kinjal and Jiya as they face this new, difficult chapter. Every bit helps, and every share is an act of solidarity.
