Nora Keener, age 50, of Minor Hill, Tennessee, passed away on January 13, 2026 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born on February 23, 1975, Nora was a woman who embraced life with an adventurous heart and a deep love for the natural world.
Nora found her greatest joy in the outdoors, especially when she was exploring it alongside her husband, children, and grandchildren. Whether they were embarking on a new adventure or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of nature, those moments spent together were the foundation of her life. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and the unwavering love she had for her family.
Nora is survived by her husband, Thomas Keener of Minor Hill; her six daughters, Autumn (Cole) Rogers, Chelsie (Tanner Mayo) Keener, Shania Mantooth, Elizabeth Keener, Rikki Keener, and Deserah Keener; and her son, Maximus Keener. Brother-in-laws Robert Presley of Minor Hill, TN and Steve Keener of Grant Pass, OR. Her legacy lives on through her six cherished grandchildren: Avery, Aiden, Harlee, Hardin, Nora, and Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward ‘Dee’ and Barbara Thomas of Evansville, Indiana, as well as her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ricky and Carole Keener.
