Millie Margret Vick was born on March 6, 2008, in Columbia, Tennessee, to Brian and Ryan Vick. She passed away on the evening of July 8 2025, at 10:08 PM in St. Petersburg, Florida, surrounded by love.

Millie was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at the age of 14, and from that moment forward, she faced every day with a courage and resilience that defied her young age. She fought valiantly—just as anyone who knew her would expect from such a fiery, bright-spirited teenage girl.

Millie is deeply loved and endlessly remembered by her four siblings: Grace (Aaron) Farmer, Owen, Dawson, and Stella Vick; her grandparents, Mike and Maggie Shadrick and Scooter and Marsha Vick; her aunts, Tara Kelley and Rachel Hurt; her uncles, Daniel Kelley and Al Hurt; her beloved niece, Carrington Farmer, and her cousins: Emma Kelley, Phoebe Hurt, Maggie Hurt, and Dylan Shadrick. Preceded in death by uncle and aunt Shawn and Lucy Shadrick, and grandmother Leslie Young Vick.

She had just completed her junior year at Central High School and had recently entered a work program at Maury Regional Hospital. Millie dreamed of a future in the healthcare field, a fitting goal for someone so naturally nurturing. Throughout middle and high school, she worked part-time as a babysitter—a true reflection of her caring heart and dependable nature.

Among the many roles she played in her short but full life, perhaps her most cherished was being a big sister to Stella & aunt to Carrington. Millie was Stella’s constant, her playmate, her protector, and without a doubt, her favorite person. The bond that Millie shared with Stella & Carrington was a beautiful example of Millie’s endless capacity to love.

Millie had a larger-than-life presence. She was the first person you noticed when you walked into a room—her voice always loud, full of bombastic love and unfiltered honesty. She was quick with a hug, quicker with a joke, and never afraid to stand her ground. Her energy was magnetic, her laugh unforgettable, and her pride in who she was made everyone around her feel braver in being themselves.

She loved her friends and family with a loyalty that was fierce and unconditional. Despite her health & life circumstances she had a deep love for the Lord, had a heart for worship as well as her youth ministry.

Millie lived big, laughed loud, and loved hard. Though her time here was far too short, the impact she made was immense. Her light will continue to shine in every person she touched, every memory she left behind, and every heart that now carries a piece of her forward.

Millie Margret Vick—forever cherished, forever missed, and forever loved.
