Mickey Diane Wise

Mickey Diane Wise, age 73, a resident of Chapel Hill, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at her residence.

Born on November 2, 1952, in Maury County, Tennessee, Mickey was the daughter of the late Marilyn Wise and the late Brownie Hight Wise. She proudly served her country for more than twenty-four years in the United States Army, retiring in 1995 with the distinguished rank of Chief Warrant Officer.

Mickey embraced life with enthusiasm and found joy in the simple things. She loved traveling in her RV, woodworking, and building furniture. She also enjoyed visiting the Grand Ole Opry and listening to country music. Her farm was her sanctuary, and she had a special fondness for dogs and puppies. Above all, she treasured her family. Known for giving 120% to everything she set her mind to, Mickey leaves behind a legacy of dedication, kindness, and strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her step daughter, Lynn (Troy) Turner, brother, David (Geraldine) Wise, grandchildren, Bradley (Gabby) MacDonald, Timothy (Carlee Belle) Turner, Trenton Turner, eight great grandchildren, niece, Alicia Russell, great nieces, Holly Russell, Sommer Wise, great great nieces, Jayla Hicks, So’Miya Wise, and great great nephew, Kamion Wise.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Mike Rieves.

The family celebrated her life privately at Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, TN, and she was laid to rest in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN. Pallbearers were Troy Turner, Bradley MacDonald, Timothy Turner, Trenton Turner, Jesse Colvett, and Camion Wise.
