Mickey G. Kelley

Mickey G. Kelley, age 66, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at NHC Columbia.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 3:00 PM at NHC Columbia. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00 PM until the service hour at NHC Columbia.

Born on November 19, 1959, in Maury County, Tennessee, Mickey was the daughter of the late William E. Weatherford and the late Dorothy Weatherford. She was a former employee of Walmart in Spring Hill, where she enjoyed serving others.

Mickey found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved cross-stitching, playing solitaire, and watching football and basketball on television. She was also an avid country music fan, with a special love for Kenny Chesney's music. As a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother, Mickey loved her family unconditionally and treasured every moment spent with them.

During her time at NHC Columbia, Mickey gained not only exceptional caregivers but also a wonderful adopted family who filled her days with friendship, compassion, and love. She cherished each of them deeply. Above all else, Mickey loved her Lord and found strength and comfort in her faith.

She is survived by her son, Billy (Micah) Prentice of Columbia; her grandchildren, Shelby Prentice and Julieanna Prentice; and her special friend, Cathy (Randy) Stanfill, along with their daughter, Kristen (Chad) Wheeler.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Mickey's family at NHC Columbia, especially Anna Clare, Tomas, Bridget, Rikka, Ty, Mallory, Deb, Shanika, Casey, Logan, the Patient Council members, Summar, and Adree, for the love, kindness, and compassionate care they provided throughout her time there.
