Michael David Lohr

Michael David Lohr, age 69, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at his residence.

Born on October 23, 1956, in Hillsboro, Illinois, Michael was the son of Eugene Morgan and the late Patricia Gilliland Morgan. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and later worked many years as an electrician specializing in HVAC.

On May 22, 1987, he married Judith Ann Lohr, and they shared 38 years of marriage until her passing on October 18, 2025.

Michael was exceptionally creative and a gifted artist. He was known for his kindness and his willingness to help others whenever he could.

He is survived by his daughters, Sarah Underwood, Patricia Ortiz, son, Dustin Lohr, siblings, Daniel (Carrie) Morgan, Nancy Morgan, Pam (Jerry), and grandchildren, Miguel Ortiz, Gideon Russell, Christina Russell, Savannah Wells, Carter Underwood, and Caleb Underwood.

In addition to his wife and mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kim Frazier.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
