Merilyn was a woman of many talents and passions. She found great joy in sewing, gardening, and creating beautiful quilts, earning a reputation as a master quilt maker. Gifted with a creative spirit, Merilyn made handcrafted willow furniture and enjoyed painting and a variety of other crafts. She was happiest when working with her hands and sharing her creations with those she loved.
She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Grissom (Billy Marrisett); her granddaughter, Mary E. "Marybeth" (Nolan) Bone; her great-granddaughter, Grace Bone; her cousins, Stephanie (Freddie) Taylor and Bill Webb; along with several extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
