Martha Irene Maffin of Summertown, Tennessee

Martha Irene Maffin, age 91, a resident of Summertown, passed away September 15 ^th , 2020 at her Residence.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born January 9, 1929 in Columbus, Ohio; Martha was the daughter of the late Samuel Albert Toy and the late Virginia Craft Toy. She was married to the late Roy Maffin. Martha was a Registered Nurse for more than forty years. She loved to travel and be around her family; She and her husband enjoyed being a camp host during their travels. A talented singer; she was a member of the singing group “Sweet Adelines”.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory three Sons: Steve Maffin of Oregon, John (Debbie) Maffin of Oregon, Tom (Dona) of Wyoming; four Daughters: Mary (Greg) Dubberly of Summertown, Irene Roberts of Georgia, Connie (Pat) Shaw of Washington, Ann McCoog of Oregon: 19 Grandchildren: 22 Great Grandchildren: and several Great-Great Grandchildren.
