Mamie L Rogers

Mamie L. Rogers, age 80, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Medlock officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Friday from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on January 29, 1945, in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, Mamie was the daughter of the late Estes Jennings and the late Mamie McKnight Jennings. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and spent more than twenty years as a devoted caregiver, compassionately tending to the needs of others.

Mamie had a love for cooking, shopping, and listening to music. A faithful member of the Spring Hill Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she found her greatest joy and purpose in sharing her faith through her witnessing work.

She is survived by her sister, Mary C. McKnight Gooch and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Rogers, and siblings, Estes Jennings, Shirley McKnight, and Marietta Williams.
