Mr. Loyd Russell “Rusty” Mohundro, age 69, a resident of Columbia, previously of Lynnville, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Magnolia Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Rusty was born on March 23, 1950 and a former resident of Arlington, Texas. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and worked self-employed, repairing and installing printing presses.
He is survived by his wife: Glenda Owen of Columbia; father: James Savage of Texas; children: Steve (Andrea) Mohundro of North Carolina, Michael (Mishanda) Mohundro of North Carolina; Michael (Ashley) Turner of Pulaski, Stephanie (Justin) Goetz of Columbia, Jason (Jenny) Chapman of Gallatin; brother: Wayne (Kay) Mohundro of Texas; sister: Deana (Jack) Cleesattel of Missouri; twelve grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Jo Cantrell Mohundro; step-mother: Mary Savage; and brother: Tommy Mohundro.
Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
