Dawn Yowell

Lori “Dawn” Yowell, age 61, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away on May 1, 2026, at Marshall Medical Center.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dedra Campbell officiating.  The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 10:00am until the service hour at the church.

Dawn was born in Columbia, Tennessee, on November 12, 1964, to the late Richard Alfred Raines and the late Margaret Luna. She was a kind and generous person who was always willing to help others and give what she could. Dawn had a special love for her dogs, Roxie, her devoted companion, and Izzy, who had been by her side for many years. Above all, she cherished her family, especially her children, and found great joy in being a grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Bryson Hughes of Lewisburg and Brooke Raines of Mt. Pleasant, and her grandson, Jaxon Raines. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Wendy Raines.
