Lori Jane Jones of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee

May 26, 1963 - February 8, 2023

Lori Jane Jones, age 59, wife of John Jones, and a resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Countryside Health and Rehab.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on May 26, 1963, in Zanesville, Ohio, Lori was the daughter of the late Raymond B. Higgins and the late Mary Jenkins Higgins.

Lori was a great mother and grandmother and a good person all around with a wonderful sense of humor along with an infectious laugh.  She enjoyed good food and enjoyed knitting.  She was loved by everyone and most called her “MawMaw”.  Lori was an extremely proud Cherokee woman.  Lori’s legacy will live on through all of her grandchildren.  Above all, Lori loved her family so very much and will be missed by all that knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Michael (Amber daughter in Law) Higgins, Elmer (Adrien daughter in law) Higgins, and Shawn Harmer, brother, Jeffrey Higgins, sister, Sharon Cox, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
