Loretta Brown

Loretta Brown of Columbia, Tennessee passed away Friday, May 30, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 5 at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday June 5 from 11-12 PM. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Maury County on August 19, 1958, to the late Marie Brown and Edward Walter Johnson. Loretta was educated in the Maury County school system. She was employed for many years by Publix Shirt Factory and Nu-Kote in Franklin, Tennessee. Loretta was a kind and gentle spirit and chose to see the best in everyone. She loved working in her garden tending to flowers and visiting family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings; Thomas Earl Brown, William C. Brown, Louish (Hattie B.) Brown and Kenneth (Lena Mai) Brown; and nephew: Deon Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Roosevelt Wade; sisters; Geneva (Charles) Wynn and Sue Ellen (Charles Jr.) Polk; loving nieces and nephews; Christopher (Regina) Wiggins, Barry Tremease (Tontonisha) Wiggins, Kimberly McKissack, Kevin Andrell (Jamila) Brown, Tracy Brown, Al Brown and Jason Brown and a host of relatives and friends.
