Larry George Rettinger

Larry George Rettinger, age 80, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Born on September 16, 1943, in Washington, Pennsylvania, Larry was the son of the late George Herman Rettinger and the late Virginia McGlumphy Rettinger. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and worked over thirty years at General Motors before retiring. Outside of work, he enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports.

He is survived by his children, Paul (Emily) Rettinger, Jason (Ann-Margaret) Rettinger, Daniel (Emily) Rettinger, and grandchildren, Karmen, Sophie, Matthew, Nathan, Celia, and Annalise Rettinger.

There will be no public service at this time. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
