Larry was born on August 22, 1943 to the late Charles and Arlene Pope. Larry and Nancy celebrated sixty years of marriage together. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and woodworking. He loved the Lord and had a true servant’s heart, helping anyone in need. He was a patient man, who enjoyed traveling the country with his beloved wife. He retired from the CUC Operations at GM in 2005.

In addition to his wife Larry is survived by his son, Shannon (Jan) Pope, daughter, Amanda (Dan) Stout, brother, Richard (Connie) Pope, and his grandchildren, Marissa Pope, Cameron Stout, and Nathan (Taylor) Pope.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Pope and his sister, Dorothy Johnson.
