Larry Smith Crammer

Larry Smith Crammer (BABE), age 88, husband of Patricia (Patti) Crammer, and a resident of Spring Hill, Tennessee, passed away at home on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Born on October 24, 1937, in Bordentown, New Jersey, Larry was the second son of George and Inez Crammer. Larry was a graduate of Bordentown High School where he played Varsity Baseball and Basketball, serving as Co Capt. and having a batting average of 355. He also attended Bordentown Military Institute (BMI) on a Baseball and Basketball Scholarship. He then went to GMI (Kettering University) and graduated with an Engineering Degree.

Larry was dedicated to following his career path as he worked at General Motors Corporation in Trenton, NJ, from 1960 before retiring in 1991, serving as an Engineer and then ending as the Superintendent, while living in Washington Crossing, PA.

Larry enjoyed many hobbies including baseball, hunting, fishing and golfing being his favorite as he and his wife moved to spend their retirement years in Murrells Inlet, SC, where they built their dream home on the golf course and hung out with their friends and visited all their favorite restaurants weekly, before heading to Tennessee to be closer to family in 2022.

Larry had a love for travel and enjoyed visiting his favorite places with his wife Patti over the years, visiting family and friends and just catching up on life. He was an avid New York Yankees & Philadelphia Eagles fan. Larry had a wonderful sense of humor and was always willing to lend an ear or tell someone what they needed to be doing. Above all, he was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather / great grandfather. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Heather Winn, son Todd Crammer, and daughters Renee Zapolski and Sandra (Timothy) Fitzpatrick, sibling Byron (Nancy) Crammer, sister-in-law Vivian Crammer, grandchildren, Ethan Winn, Aidan Winn, Dean (Joleen) Serafine, Teresa Serafine, Samantha Fitzpatrick-Reinoehl, Melodie Serafine-Bouchard (Jeffery), Brad (Mary Beth) Fitzpatrick. Several loved great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents George and Inez Crammer, he was preceded in death by his brother Richard G. Crammer.

The family will hold a celebration of his life privately at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
