Keith Lewis

Mr. Keith Robert Lewis, age 92, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Poplar Estates. 

Born on July 9, 1933, in Grand Island, Nebraska, Keith proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he enjoyed a distinguished 30-year career as a mail carrier in California before retiring. Never one to sit still, Keith spent his retirement transporting motorhomes across the country, combining his love of travel with a favorite pastime. Keith found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was an avid reader and loved working word search puzzles, which he affectionately called "word finds." He especially enjoyed playing Bingo, Pokeno, and trying his luck at slot machines and gaming tables. Above all, Keith treasured the time he spent with his family and friends, and his sense of fun will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

He is survived by his daughters, Cathy Batson and Jeannie (Steve) Wu; grandchildren, Brook Mitchell, Joseph Padilla (Michelle), Alena Pappas, and Christopher (Kelsey) Wyatt; and great-grandchildren, McKenna Mitchell, Luca Mitchell, Paul Pappas, and Weston, Mason, Kylie and Lila Wyatt. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Lewis.
