Born on January 16, 1940, in Benton, Illinois, Kaye was the daughter of the late Vernon and Burnis Lampley. She graduated from Benton High School in 1958 and, just one week later, married her high school sweetheart, Ed Falcomata, on June 7, 1958. For the next 67 years, she lovingly devoted her life to her family and faithfully served alongside Ed throughout his music and youth ministry, supporting him as both partner and pianist.
Kaye was a longtime Illinois Baptist State youth consultant and served with dedication on the Illinois Baptist Executive Board. A member of First Baptist Church in Columbia, Tennessee, she was known for her steadfast faith, servant’s heart, and her desire to encourage young people in their walk with Christ. After retirement, she and Ed enjoyed exploring the United States and Canada together in their RV, making countless memories along the way.
Above all, Kaye cherished her family. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren and was especially delighted by the recent birth of her first great-granddaughter, Lillian May.
She is survived by her husband, Ed Falcomata of Columbia, TN; daughter, Kari (Lanny) Rose of Columbia, TN; son, Joseph (Julie) Falcomata of Holly Springs, GA; grandchildren, Joseph (Selena) Rose of Franklin, TN, Ella (Gabe) May of Clarksville, TN, Marcus Falcomata of Springfield, MO, and Paige Falcomata of Tuscaloosa, AL; and her precious great-granddaughter, Lillian May of Clarksville, TN. She is also survived by her sister, Vicki (John) Carter of Benton, IL.
In addition to her parents, Kaye was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris (Roy) Loman and Norma (Robert) Garner of Benton, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests that donations be made to the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, Inc., P.O. Box 2206, Brentwood, TN 37024. tennesseechildren.org
