Judy Green Carroll

Judy Green Carroll, age 73, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will we held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. A visitation will also take place on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born January 24, 1948, in Waynesboro, Tennessee; Judy was the daughter of the late Edwin Allen Green and the late Louise Andrews Green. She was employed as a nurse, and also ran her parents “Jack & Jill” store. Judy loved her grandkids, great grandkids, and fur babies very much. She was a fan of Alabama football. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of the critical care doctors and nurses at Maury Regional Medical Center; especially Caleb, David, Mike, and Tamson.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons: Gene (Jennifer) Wright of Columbia, Jeffrey (Fonda) Wright of Columbia, Timothy Hughes of Columbia; daughters: Dawn (Chris) Westfall of Columbia, Stephanie (Joe) McClendon of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren: Jonathan (Jackie) Nichols of Nashville, Logan McClendon of Mt. Pleasant, Brandon McClendon of Columbia; great grandchildren: Nevaeh Myers, and Jeremiah Nichols.

In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husbands: William Carroll and the father of her children Mackie Eugene Wright; and brother: Earl Green.
