Judith Ann Ciero, age 81, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026, in Columbia.

Born on September 9, 1944, in Memphis, Tennessee, Judy was the daughter of the late Robert William Tyler and Maudie Lidell Tyler. She devoted her life to her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Judy shared a devoted marriage of fifty-seven years with her husband and best friend, Richard Ciero, whom she met while they worked at NASA. Together they built a family centered on love, loyalty, and unwavering support. Her caring heart, resilience, and dedication to those she loved were evident throughout her life and left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Nothing brought Judy greater joy than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She treasured family gatherings, celebrated life milestones with enthusiasm, and created countless memories that will be cherished for generations. Judy’s legacy is one of love, strength and devotion to family. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched. In accordance with her wishes, Judy was cremated.

In addition to her husband, Richard, Judy is survived by her sons, Nicholas (Kimberly) Ciero, and Chris (Diana Casella) Ciero, her siblings, Joyce Tyler and Warren (Linda) Tyler; and her beloved grandchildren, Alexandria (Kyle) Hamrick, Grace Ciero, Laura Ciero, and Joseph Ciero.

Her cremated remains will be interred at Heritage Cemetery in Columbia, Tennessee. No memorial service is planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to a charity of the donors choice or to an organization supporting seniors, hospice care, or family services in Judy’s memory, Wounded Warriors Foundation, or to the Arbor Day Foundation.
