John Joseph Nati

John Joseph Nati, age 71, husband of Judy Maag, and a resident of Hohenwald, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at St. Thomas Midtown. 

Born on December 30, 1954, in Meriden, CT, John was the son of the late John Joseph Nati, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Lewis Nati. He was a 1973 graduate of Wilcox Tech School and worked many years as an auto worker for General Motors before retiring. On April 25, 2017, he married Judy Maag. He was an outgoing and loving person with a great sense of humor. He loved his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Ken (Alexis) Nati, Justin Maag, daughters, Lisa (Donnie) Knoepfel, Jennifer Maag (Kyle Dodson), brother, Frank (Gale) Nati, sister, Marty (John) Shochook, twin sister, Joanne (Brian) Cannata, grandchildren, Broc Nati, Deyvn Nati, Levi Knoepfel, Wyatt Knoepfel, Shelby Dodson, and Owen Maag, nephews, Aaron Cannata, Michael Maietta, nieces, Ashliegh Cannata, Jennifer Berry, great nieces and nephews, Liz Nati, Alexandria Maietta, Mikey Maietta, and Frankie McGee, and many cousins.
