John F. Crawley, Sr.

John F. Crawley, Sr. of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 84. He was born on March 5, 1940, in Graysville, Tennessee. 

John served proudly in the United States Marine Corps, where he was fondly known as “Cpl. Crowley.” A passionate supporter of the University of Tennessee, he was a lifelong fan of the Volunteers. John found joy in spending time outdoors, particularly on the golf course and playing horseshoes. 

He is preceded in death by his beloved best friend and “partner-in-crime”, Linda Lasasso, with whom he shared a love for travel and adventure. John is survived by his son, John; his daughters, Heather and Tina; and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His presence in our lives was a gift, and he will be deeply missed. We are grateful to have had him as part of our story.”
