With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeanette Elaine O’Neal Warren, 77, of Lewisburg, TN, who left us on January 27, 2026, surrounded by family.
A celebration of life will take place at Heritage Funeral Home on February 7, 2026, with Pastor Jerry Yerkes officating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with a service following at 12:00 PM. A graveside will be held for the family.
Born in Mulberry FL. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, James LaDon Warren; children Rhonda (Andrew) Underwood, Belton MO; Heather (Roger) Williams, Cornersville; Damon (Misti) Warren, Shelbyville; and Tempi (Matt) Ferris, Lewisburg.Stepson Tim (Donna) Warren and bonus son JP (Silvia) Guzman. Grandchildren Kaleigh Shea, Deltona FL; Ethan Ward, Lewisburg; Christa Warren, Shelbyville; Roman and Raylan Ferris, Lewisburg; Austin (Mekenzie) Underwood, Bolivar MO; Peyton Williams, Keeley Willams, and Trey(Kristen) Cashion. Great-grandchildren Colson and Annie Underwood, Bolivar MO;Waylan Ward, Lewisburg; Venus Williams, and Lilly and Mia Cashion. Sister Gloria “Bobbie” Ardrey, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father James Mowery, mother Olier Lee Melvin Mowery, and stepdaughter Sherry Cashion.
Jeanette spent most of her childhood in Tarpon Springs, FL, where she would swim by the docks and watch Greek divers pull sponges from the ocean. She always considered herself a mermaid. High school years found her in Auburndale, FL, where she met her lifelong friend Glenda. After marrying Don and spending years in FL, they moved to Lewisburg where she worked as a medical transcriptionist for eighteen years at Marshall Medical before retiring in 2010.She enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, where she was surrounded by the ocean. Other lifelong hobbies were antiquing, estate sales, and horseback riding. Jeanette had a fierce love for the Lord, her family, and her Chihuahua Willa. She attended Bethlehem Baptist Church in the Berlin community. She was a strong-willed lady, hard worker, and tried to do for others. She was buying everyone’s dinner and there was no back talk.
Those serving as pallbearers will be Damon Warren, Andy Underwood, Matt Ferris, Ethan Ward, Roman Ferris, and JP Guzman.
