Janice Lynn Hancock

Janice Lynn Morris Hancock, age 82, a resident of Summertown, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Pulaski.

The family will celebrate her life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on April 24, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, Janice was the daughter of the late Richard Morris and the late Nola Garrard Morris.

She is survived by her sons: Robert Hancock of Austin, TX, Michael Hancock of Atlanta, GA, Patrick Hancock of Austin, TX; daughters: Cindy Hancock of Youngsville, LA, Mindy Girouard of Ethridge, TN; sisters-in-law: Lavone Givens of Tallulah, LA, Lavern Ryan of Joplin, MO, Shirley Melton of Vicksburg, MS; grandchildren: Jordan Hancock, Quinton Hancock, Mallory Harris, Adam Soulier, Renee Girouard, Casey Girouard; and great grandchildren: Easton Soulier and Finley Hancock.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert “Pee Wee” Hancock; and grandsons: Benjamin Hancock and Aaron Soulier.
