Jamie Lee “Jimmy” Amos, age 47, a resident of Columbia, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, at his residence.

A private visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jamie, also known as Sweet Pea, was born on July 9, 1975, in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, and was the son of the late Ollie Amos, Sr. and the late Janie Lee Brooks Amos. He was a jack of all trades who enjoyed playing cards and fishing. He was a good person who loved helping people.

He is survived by his brothers, Ollie (Lamonda) Amos, Jr. and Ray Amos, sister, Judy Brooks, good friend, Anthony, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
