James Odell Osborne

James Odell Osborne, age 61, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Services for James are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date by Heritage Funeral Home.

James was born on April 18, 1965, in Columbia, Tennessee, and was the son of the late Grant Amos and the late Bernice Osborne. He was a self-employed mechanic who had a knack for fixing just about anything. James was a hardworking and resourceful man who would hustle for scrap metal and take on whatever work he could find to make a dollar.

More than anything, James will be remembered for his heart of gold. He was always willing to lend a hand and would do anything he could for anyone in need. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and could always bring a smile or a laugh to those around him. James made an impression on everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

James is survived by his companion of 26 years, Cynthia Gallo; sons, James William Gallo and Quantavious Holt; brothers, Phillip (Caroline) Amos and Frederick Amos; and sisters, Holly Ann Bills and LeCretia Pulse.
