In loving memory of James "Jim" Williams, who graced this world with his presence on March 3, 1934, in the quaint town of Ethridge, and departed for his heavenly home on October 17, 2026.

Jim was the cherished son of Arlie and Eldora Williams, who preceded him in death along with his siblings, Roy Williams and Betty Cox, and his dear daughter, Kathy Williams. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, carried on by his wife, Glenda Williams, his daughters SaDonna Williams and Angie Miller (Greg), and his son Jay Williams (Michelle). Grandchildren Marissa Skinner, Lindsey Skinner Collier (Jacob), Jaxson Pulley (Annie), Abby Williams, and Carson Williams. Great grandchildren Harper and Henry Collier

A proud veteran, Jim served his country with honor during the Korean War conflict, stationed in Japan with the Army Corps of Engineers. He dedicated his skills to constructing runways, contributing to the safety and efficiency of military operations. His service exemplified the steadfastness and dedication that characterized his life.

For 38 years, Jim diligently worked at Murray Ohio, retiring in March of 1996. His work ethic was unparalleled, and he was respected by all who had the privilege of working alongside him. But it was his life outside of work that painted the fullest picture of who Jim truly was.

Jim had a profound love for the great outdoors. Whether casting a line in deep sea, river, or pond, he found peace and joy in fishing. His days were often spent hunting squirrels and rabbits, reveling in the simplicity and beauty of nature. A master of the pool table, Jim enjoyed the camaraderie and friendly competition that came with a good game. The beach was another sanctuary for Jim, where he would gather with family, basking in the sun and the joy of togetherness. Above all Jim loved his family and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible.

Above all, Jim was a people person, relishing the company of others and the joy of a good time. His laughter was infectious, his kindness unmatched. He touched countless lives with his genuine spirit and unwavering love.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at NHC Brink Nursing Home in Lawrenceburg for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to a charity of one's choice, honoring Jim's generous spirit.

Jim's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace, his legacy carried on by the countless lives he touched.
