Ida Faye Fowler

Ida Faye Fowler, age 83, affectionately known by many as “Faye Mama,” and a resident of Culleoka, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at her residence.

Born on June 23, 1943, in Spring Hill, Tennessee, Faye Mama was the daughter of the late Leslie & Bessie Layne. She spent many years as a talented beautician before later working in the advertising department of the Columbia Daily Herald, where she created the newspaper advertisements. Outside of work, she found great joy in gardening.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Holly Fowler and great grandchildren, Kaleb Fowler, Jaisten Venoy, Kataleya Bullock, and Priest Owens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Fowler, and several siblings.

There will be no public service at this time. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
