Hunter Blake Hudson, age 38, a resident of Hohenwald, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, September 11, 2026, as the result of injuries sustained in an ATV accident, alongside his future son-in-law, Talon Hinson.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points and Corey Hay officiating. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Born on June 28, 1988, in Nashville, Tennessee, Hunter was the son of the late Dennis Michael Hudson, Sr. and the late Billie Daphne Jeanette Curry Hudson. A hardworking man by nature, Hunter first worked as an electrician before beginning his career in construction with Richland American Homes in 2020 where he was currently serving as the area manager.

For fifteen years, Hunter shared a beautiful marriage with his wife, Lauren Hay Hudson. Together, they built a family and raised their two daughters, Scarlett and Bonni. He was a devoted husband and father who treasured the time he spent with the people he loved most.

Hunter was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, grilling, and riding his RZR. He was a true jack of all trades and seemed to have a natural gift for fixing things. Hunter also had a special place in his heart for his beloved duck dog, Drake.

In addition to his wife and daughters, he is survived by his brothers, Dennis Michael (Abbie) Hudson, Jr., Dillon (Paige) Hudson, mother in law, Cindy Crigger, brothers and sisters in law, Corey (Kim) Hay, Cody Hay, Cheyenne Nay, April (Kenneth) Potts, Steven (Karen) Riggins, aunt, Judy Garrett, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Sue Hudson, Jerry and Nora Curry, and uncle, Dodd Garrett.

Those serving as honorary pallbearers will be his best friends, Aaron Bliss, Josh Gadd, Brian Gray, Brayden Gray, Adrian Stanley, Lucas Nay, and Trey Walker.

Those who knew Hunter will remember him for his hardworking spirit, his ability to fix nearly anything, his love of the outdoors, and most of all, his love for his family. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
