Herbert W. Adcock, Jr.

Mr. Herbert Walters Adcock, Jr., age 63, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, there will be a private family burial. He will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert W. Adcock, Sr. and wife, Vivian Duberry Adcock.

Survivors include his mother, Gail P. Thurman; children: Mary and Samuel; brother, Robert Thurman; grandchildren: Xander and Kira Garner; step mother Kim Adcock all of Columbia; sisters: Deborah “Stretch” McEwen of Nashville, Sharon Wingler of Arrington; and several aunts, an uncle, nieces and nephews.
