Harold Pierce of Waynesboro, Tennessee

Harold Eugene Morris Pierce, age 49, a resident of Waynesboro, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Ascension St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.A memorial service will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born May 16, 1971 in Nashville, Tennessee; Harold was the son of Paul Pierce, and the late Grace Dillard Pierce. He was a 1990 graduate of John Overton Highschool where he played football; and later went on to attend Lincoln Automotive, earning an Associates Degree. He was a chef most of his life. Harold enjoyed cars, cooking, and was a lifelong scholar with an interest in history. A dedicated father, grandfather, and jack of all trades; Harold will be deeply missed.

In addition to his father; Harold is survived by his loving and devoted stepmother: Kathleen Kamphoefner-Brown. Sons: Alex Pierce, Frederick Pierce, Stepson: Anson Anderson, Grandson: Malachi Pierce, Brother: Jarvis Pierce, Stepbrother: Karl Kamphoefner-Brown, Aunt: Aleshia Dillard Clark, Uncles: Shawn Dillard, Will Dillard, Devoted Cousin: Devan Maypray, and a host of nieces cousins, and loving friends.

In addition to his mother, Harold is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Helen Corlew Dillard, Paternal Grandmother: Mary Bailey Pierce, Paternal Grandfather: Frank Pierce, Cousin; Frankie Maypray III, and Aunt: Edna Pearl Turner.
