Gerald Lee Benedetti

Gerald Lee Benedetti, age 82, a resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away, July 25, 2026, at his residence.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 11 AM at Maury Memorial Gardens, Garden of Freedom, with Brandon Cochran officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on May 29, 1944 in Lucedale, Mississippi, Gerald was the son of the late Guerrino Benedetti and the late Esther Stevison Benedetti. Gerald and his wife, Donna Thomas Benedetti, spent several years married. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed working with his hands, which led to his career in construction as well as volunteering with Waterfront Rescue Mission in Pensacola, Florida, traveling and taking random road trips, having a hard work ethic, loved animals, especially his beloved dog, Blue, working in his flower garden, and living life to the fullest. A loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Rebecca (Marc) Snoblen, Michele Brown, sister, Carmella Grenier, grandchildren, Amber (Gavin) Bushong, Logan Brown, Charleigh Snoblen, Aubreigh Snoblen, and great granddaughter, Maya Bushong.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Jardine, Esther Corey, Christina Benedetti, and Shirley Tomasso.
